Since we have managed camping facilities longer than anyone in Sardinia, we have just applied the results of 30 years of experience, trying to do the outmost for our guests. This will show you just how pleasant your vacation can be at Camping Le Cernie. Camping le Cernie is located on the eastern coast of central Sardinia, 150 km to the south of Olbia and 145 km to the north of Cagliari, in the Arbatax gulf looking out towards the Ogliastra Islands. Behind the campsite rise the spurs of the "Gennargentu" mountains, which rise to a height of 1,800m. This mountain range cuts off the "maestrale" wind, freeing Ogliastra of the wind problem while supplying plentiful water with numerous springs. The Camping is situated on the seashore, entirely in the shade of a fifty-year-old pinewood, offering freshness and forgotten scents. The beach onto which the campsite looks is 250 metres in length and 35 metres in width, and is so uncrowded that you will be able to pitch your umbrella 20 metres away from anyone else. This special location makes our campsite unique among Sardinian campsites: with a shaded, windless stretch of shoreline and water in abundance, you will be able to enjoy the sea as never before. Just think: in a radius of no more than 100 metres you will have access to the bar for a drink, lavatories, the beach where you can leave your umbrella, showers, a restaurant, your accommodation … and our efficient assistance.
